Operational Vessel Support

Our operational experience covers a wide range of vessel types – including Tankers (Crude, Product, Chemical and Gas), Bulk Carriers, Container Ships, Reefers, Ro-Ro’s/PCTC, Heavy Lift Vessels, OSV’s, Anchor Handlers and more – so we are ideally suited to support clients from a diverse range of industry sectors.

We have carried out many different types of work on behalf of clients, on all of the noted vessel types for clients, including:

–      bi-annual technical vessel inspections.

–      structural condition assessment.

–      pre-purchase inspections.

–      Various types of audit – ISM, ISPS, MLC, Nav, Safety, IOPP, etc.

–      preparation of detailed dry-dock specifications.

–      full management of dry-dock projects.

–      mentoring inexperienced superintendents during their first docking project.

We have also carried out a considerable amount of trouble-shooting work on vessels in and around the Asia region , on behalf of ship owners and ship managers based outside the region. In these cases we acted as the eyes and ears of our client’s fleet manager / superintendent, extending their operational reach in the region without the on-going costs of maintaining an office here.
