What We Do
Marine & Technical Vessel Support
MarineLink helps to extend the reach of ship owners & managers beyond their home base, acting as the eye & ears of your fleet manager or superintendents when required. Not only is sending your own supers across the world to visit your vessels expensive, it takes key staff from running the rest of the fleet. Using MarineLink means you have 24/7 access to independent marine & technical expertise whilst maintaining full control over your vessels without adding to your overhead.
Incident Investigation & Analysis
Our consultants investigate maritime & offshore accidents and incidents, collisions, hull and machinery failures and cargo damage issues on behalf of marine insurance, P&I or maritime lawyers.
Dry-Dock Project Management
The foundation of any effective dry-dock project is a quality specification and poor specs often result in lots of extras and projects or having to leave the yard with work still outstanding. Creating an effective specification requires intense focus and superintendents are often unable to give consistent attention to this as their primary duty is to manage day-to-day issues on their other vessels.
Using MarineLink to plan, prepare and/or manage dry-dock projects eliminates this problem. We can focus on the project specification and the docking process and you superintendents can make sure their vessels get all the attention they need.
Offshore Project Support
Offshore projects come in all shapes, sizes and assets; our consultants have experience of different asset types, including FPSO’s FSO’s, Semi-Submersibles, Jack-Up Rigs, Drill Ships, etc., with projects including extensive refurbishment/ repairs, conversions and new-buildings.
Maritime Training Courses
MarineLink has develop a number of short courses (from 1/2 – 2-days in length) to address a shortfall in the market for superintendent and other staff training.
Our courses can be delivered in the way that best suits our clients’ needs; from full in-house courses to part-course targeted to a particular issue or area of concern.
Dry-dock training is something we specialise in, as well as providing mentoring superintendents who are inexperienced in the docking process, or who would benefit from guidance in spec preparation.
